Becoming an NNA
ORT Host & Assessor

If you're a scentwork trainer who regularly runs scent-specific classes or 1:1 sessions, and you’re already helping a range of clients and dogs progress towards trial-level work, becoming an NNA ORT Host & Assessor could be the perfect next step for you.

Odour Recognition Tests (ORTs) are the first formal challenge on the National Nosework Association journey. As a Host & Assessor, you’ll be authorised to deliver these structured, progressive assessments in a way that supports your clients and introduces them to competitive scentwork in a clear and professional environment.

If your application is successful, we’ll send you everything you need to get started, including guidance on how to run ORTs in line with NNA standards.

If you’re also considering becoming a Trials Official, we offer a discounted rate when you sign up for both roles together.

To apply, simply complete the application form below and our team will review your submission.
